The challenge

ALKUF delivers aid across 25 Sri Lankan districts from its base in Kinniya, Trincomalee, but it had no credible online home to build donor trust, and ran its records out of scattered, unsearchable Drive folders with no access trail.

Our approach

Ran a discovery process benchmarking leading foundation websites, then designed a clean, professional experience around ALKUF's story, its nine core programs, and ways to give.

Built the public site on Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind for speed, accessibility, and easy content updates as new initiatives launch.

Built an internal ERP alongside it: a searchable, filterable document archive with role-based access and an audit trail on every upload and change.

Chose a zero-setup storage model so the ERP runs anywhere with no database server to maintain, and kept the interface simple enough for non-technical staff to adopt on day one.

The outcome

ALKUF now runs on a public site that represents the Foundation with the credibility its mission deserves, backed by an internal ERP where staff find any document in seconds. Both systems are fully owned by the Foundation. [Add real traffic and adoption metrics once tracked.]
